Structural Group Waffle House Wars!
THE STRUCTURAL GROUP BROUGHT THE HEAT… OF THE WAFFLE IRON TO THE HONOLULU OFFICE IN THE FIRST-EVER SSFM WAFFLE HOUSE BUILDING CONTEST.
Using lego-shaped waffles three structural teams from the Honolulu and Manila offices competed in building a 15”x15” structures at least 12” high. Special instructions restricted anything that could poison or injure judges, and embraced extra points for including adornments such as edible fruit. After 30 minutes of furious activity, contest judges Scott, Vicki, Connor, and Malachi, tallied points for aesthetics, taste, and conducted seismic construction quality/durability with a “seismic test” AKA shaking the table.
CONGRATULATIONS to the winning team: Bennett, Eternity, Lemuel, and Andrea! Hats off to Structural Group’s Deputy Manager and Waffle Champ, Renee, and Jake for dreaming up the idea and making it happen, and to all who competed in this sweet challenge!
