CIVIL ENGINEERING

For nearly four decades, SSFM’s Civil Engineering Group has contributed greatly to the development of the Islands’ infrastructure. We work with both public and private sector clients in site development, transportation and utility infrastructure projects.

We design and document solutions for all types of projects. Our services include grading, drainage and onsite improvement plans, construction details and cost estimates. We embrace Low Impact Development (LID), an approach that protects water quality through land development improvements that integrate with natural systems to manage stormwater runoff close to its source.

TRANSPORTATION PLANNING

Transportation Planning identifies and defines future transportation needs. SSFM develops policies, goals and objectives, and establishes the processes, investments, and infrastructure required to implement projects, while navigating the regulatory challenges and complex scheduling to meet the needs for moving people and goods.

SSFM’s Program Management team leads our considerable capabilities to coordinate and align the execution of large multi-faceted projects. Often, we collocate with our clients’ during the roll out of programs.
