About the Project

6L-24R is 150 ft. wide with 35 ft. shoulders and 12,015 ft. long. It is the primary runway for the airport. Approximately 95 percent of all runway operations are conducted on Runway 6L-24R. The project rehabilitates all port and cement concrete (PCC) pavements on Runway 6L-24R. Specifically, branch sections R6L-02, R6L-11, R6L-12, and R6L-13. Elements of rehabilitation include, but are not limited to, existing pavement demolition, subgrade improvement, new runway pavement, and removal and replacement of existing runway pavement markings.
