About the Project
SSFM supported Maui County in advancing the West Maui Greenway Work Plan, building on the 25-mile greenway vision with technical planning, community engagement, implementation strategies, and climate resilience considerations shaped by the 2023 Lahaina wildfires. The work refined segment priorities, outlined permitting and funding pathways, and helped secure a $15.43 million federal RAISE grant to move the first phases of this transformative multimodal and resilience corridor toward design and construction.
