About the Project
SSFM provided project management and construction management services for the construction of the East Hawaii Regional Sort Station, a waste reduction, composting, transfer and recyclable materials sorting facility located near the site of the South Hilo Landfill. The Sort Station will accept County, commercial and residential waste from all areas of South and East Hawaii.
