About the Project

The Saipan Emergency Operations Center includes a single building with reinforced concrete footings, foundation, and floor slab; structural steel framing; concrete block walls; metal roof decking; and pre-formed metal roofing panels, fascias, and trim. Mechanical and electrical systems, communication/computer management system, site utilities, pavements, and site improvements. The center is designed to comply with Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Homeland Security requirements for emergency operations facilities which includes a secure operations room within the facility.

SSFM provided structural and civil engineering services for the including a design charrette and preparation of plans and specifications.
