About the Project

SSFM provided traffic engineering and planning services for the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation’s Red-Light Running Camera Pilot Program, supporting the deployment of automated enforcement at ten high‑risk intersections in Urban Honolulu. SSFM managed planning, permitting, design coordination, field verification, and multi‑agency collaboration to deliver the three‑phase installation of 17 cameras on an accelerated schedule, establishing the foundation for statewide expansion of automated traffic enforcement.
