About the Project

Creating a more patient focused and functional waiting room, registration, triage area and security station for Maui Memorial Medical Center’s new urgent care center was the scope of this expansion. Phase I includes 3976 sq. ft. of new ED single story addition. Phase II to include 2,951 square feet of major remodeling and 274 square feet of minor remodeling. Phase III to include new canopy, office and corridor with floor area of 2,264 square feet. Phase IV to include new entry canopy with floor area of 500 square feet

SSFM provided civil and structural engineering services for the Emergency Department renovation and expansion. Under a separate contract, we also conducted construction support services directly to the owner.
