CLIENT
State of Hawaii, Department of Education
About the Project
The Puu Oo Vent lava flow accross highway 130 and its impact on Pahoa Town required emergency management and support services to construct and relocate assets from the Keonepoko Elementary School. The project included planning, design, and construction management services to construct a temporary elementary school campus for 450 students at the Keaau High School athletic parking lot.
SSFM was responsible for identifying assets within the schools; managing and coordinating moving furniture and equipment from the school to its temporary location; design and coordination with County Agencies for siting the new portable buildings; and logistics management for construction, and relocation of the furniture and equipment.
