About the Project

SSFM served as the Prime Consultant for two safety and mobility improvements along Keaau–Pahoa Road, providing project management, civil engineering, traffic engineering, and permitting services. The work included a contraflow lane between Shower Drive and Kaloli Drive and the construction of a single-lane roundabout at Ainaloa Boulevard, delivered as near-term solutions to enhance safety and relieve congestion along this heavily traveled rural corridor.
