About the Project

Challenges to installing Hawaiian Airline’s new A320 flight simulator, located in their existing building at the Airport Industrial Park, meant replacing the foundation to accommodate strict specifications to limit vibration without disrupting operations, and completing the project under an extremely strict schedule. The simulator has its own room with the supporting equipment and platform and an elevated pedestrian walkway to connecting to the existing flight simulator.

SSFM was successful in designing and coordinating the structural engineering of the foundation and support facilities under this compressed time schedule.
