About the Project

SSFM provided professional planning services for the Downtown Hilo Multimodal Master Plan, the first phase of a broader Complete Streets effort to create a more vibrant, walkable, and bike-friendly district. The plan was shaped through extensive community engagement and delivered multimodal recommendations, design concepts, and implementation strategies to support safer streets, increased transportation choices, and a stronger, more connected downtown.
