About the Project

SSFM supported the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands in updating its statewide General Plan, a 20-year policy framework guiding land management, programs, and decision-making for the Hawaiian Homes Commission. The work included research, agency coordination, extensive beneficiary engagement, and development of updated land use designations and policies to reflect new administrative rule requirements and the long-term vision for DHHL lands through 2040.
