Temporary Facility Planning Study and Repair Design Services for FY10 HH 00001-0J, MEDDAC-J, Bldg 704

Camp Zama, Japan

CLIENT

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Japan District

About the Project

While the permanent medical and dental clinics were undergoing during repair to their permanent facility in building 704, SSFM conducted a planning study to ascertain the requisite technical information, standards, and codes for erection of temporary facilities in a parking lot south of building 101 at Camp Zama.

Adhering to all U.S. and local Japanese laws and codes was mandatory. The project maximizes the use of local materials to meet the design criteria/SSOW and minimize the construction schedule and phasing plan. While the permanent facilities in building 704 needed to achieve a LEED Silver rating the temporary facilities were exempt.
