About the Project
SSFM led the City and County of Honolulu's first island-wide Active Transportation Monitoring Program, overseeing site assessment, design, permitting, procurement, and installation of bicycle and pedestrian counters at 40 locations across Oʻahu. The program established the City's first continuous multimodal data system—complete with a public data portal—providing reliable information to guide planning, investment, and policy decisions for active transportation through 2031.
