General Repairs and Repainting
Carrying out an extensive repair, abatement, improvement, and painting program at the most trafficked and heavily used building on campus posed multiple challenges. SSFM provided a full range of construction management services and worked closely with contractors and the Building Coordinator to minimize the cost of additional concrete repair and paint stripping, and to sequence the work in a manner which minimized impact on students and others in the facility. That effort went so far as to carry out the isolation and removal of asbestos and paint containing lead late at night in order to keep building users from being unsettled by the sight of workers in full body suits and respirators.
