Guam International Airport Runway Rehabilitation

SSFM team of local island experts with extensive experience in airport construction provided Project & Construction Management Services for the longest runway at Guam’s only civilian airport. SSFM managed two contractors during dual phases of the rehabilitation process. The project included pavement demolition, subgrade improvement, new runway pavement and removal & replacement of runway pavement markings. This high-profile, Government of Guam project, was funded by the Federal Aviation Administration.
