Complete Streets Implementation Study
In collaboration with a team of local and national experts, SSFM is the prime consultant assisting the City of Honolulu to implement the goals and requirements of the Complete Streets Ordinance. The initiative begins with review of related studies and reports in order to update current ordinances, codes, and design guidelines to ensure consistency with the Complete Streets policy and principles. We conducted workshops and training sessions for City staff to qualify them in the on-going management of the Complete Streets program. The project also includes demonstrating planning and design examples of select locations Honolulu.
