Crucial parts of the petroleum distribution network at the active Commercial Port at Cabras Island, Guam were aging and had begun to deteriorate. SSFM was retained to provide construction management services for replacement of 4,600 linear feet of a major ten-inch section of that petroleum distribution network and 1,600 linear feet of an eight-inch firewater line. This seemingly routine project is noteworthy because SSFM completed the work successfully despite changes in client, funding source, and design standards during its implementation.
