Joint Traffic Mgt. & Emergency Operations Ctr.
The new Joint Traffic Management Center and Emergency Operation Center provides a consolidated home to a number of State and City of Honolulu departments. The State Department of Transportation, the City & County of Honolulu Department of Transportation Services, the Department of Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services, and the Honolulu Police and Fire Departments will all be located in this facility. The facilities are programmed and designed to foster greater synergies and coordination between the agencies. The project also includes the 411-stall adjacent parking structure and renovation of the Alapai Transit Center renovation. SSFM provided program management for planning, design, and construction.
